Lemon myrtle

A little lemon myrtle

Lemon Myrtle (Backhousia Citriodora) is very high in calcium, vitamins E and C, zinc and magnesium.

It is an antioxidant and an antiseptic, that soothes and aids with sore throats and relaxation. It boasts an intensely citrus fragrance and flavour. The leaves can be added to other ingredients such as lemon for a delicious, light lemon flavoured tea, as well as biscuits, dressings, syrups, sauces, ice creams, dips, meat dishes and more.
